Our Test Kitchen

In February of 2006, Horizon Equipment moved to its current location, and at that time, constructed a state of the art test / demonstration kitchen. Our facility is designed to accommodate a number of gas or electrical appliances at one time. This enables customers to visually see a side-by-side comparison of two or more pieces of equipment at the same time. Our facility is also designed to be used as a training facility for groups of 25 or smaller. We make the room available to our customers to bring their employees into a professional environment, free from any disruptions of the normal workplace, and do specific and specialized training. We can accommodate anything from intricate gourmet food preparation, to artisan baking, or even the production of the finest frozen custard and gelato that one might desire.

Equipment Installation

We are also Foodservice Equipment Contractors (Kitchen Equipment Contractors - KEC) and have many years of experience installing and servicing the entire equipment list for bakeries, restaurant kitchens, delis, produce departments, cafeterias, and meat departments. This includes coordinating with each contractor, convenient and cooperative times to start and complete the job on time. Horizon installs all major manufacturers of food service equipment, including soft serve equipment for ice cream, custard, frozen drinks, and gelato.
