We had the honor of working with K'kinaco Nikkei & Pisco Bar in Hopkins, MN from start to finish on their new restaurant. From the back of the house kitchen equipment to the bar equipment, this project was so much fun. Working with owner Roberto and Chef Enrique was really easy and it was exciting watching their dreams come to life.
Nikkei cuisine is the Peruvian style of cooking Japanese by using Andean ingredients and spices, molded by Japanese techniques. This style of restaurant is the first of its kind in Minnesota.
They also proudly offer Pisco, which is a brandy that is produced in the wine-making regions of Peru and Chile. It's made by distilling fermented grape juice into a high-proof spirit and can be enjoyed on its own or mixed in with cocktails.
