COMMERCIAL FOOD EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
2+ years’ experience with commercial food equipment repair, CFESA certification preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license from the state in which applicant is applying and acceptable driving record
Required to achieve their CFESA certification in electrical and refrigeration within one year of employment
EPA card and DOT physical required
Self-motivated with the proven ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal direct supervision
Some Microsoft Office experience required
Responsibilities Include:
Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
The ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform performance maintenance on commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration equipment.
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly with or without assistance.
Ability to climb and work from a ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
Ability to tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
Must be able to operate a commercial vehicle in a safe manner and adhere to all safety requirements.
Must be able to provide high quality customer care while having the ability to effectively communicate with customers and other employees.
Must be able to work overtime, on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
